In Our Time - Siege of Vienna seems familiar

There was something familiar about the Polish horses rushing down from the mountain top to end The Siege of Vienna.

Oh, right. Gee, I wonder if Tolkien knew that history.

    Interesting. I'll remember that the next time I read the charge of the Rohirrim.

    I've lately been enjoying documentaries on the history of the Muslim empires. I'm a fan of any organization that advances science.
