Nike.com: worst web site in the history of the universe

Nike.com is all flash based, back buttons don't work, links don't work, search engines don't work. It's slow and painful and just plain stupid. How can such a wealthy company produce such a trashy site? And what does that say about their business future?

This comment was posted in 2006 and unfortunately it is still true today at the end of 2009. I just spent a half hour lost in a maze of brand jargon and roads leading now where. And I'm Nike's biggest target: a runner! All I want is a pair of running tights and do you think I can locate such a thing on the Nike site? No way. They have gone too far with their complexity, jargon, and brand worship. They left us all behind.

Agreed. I tried to find nike shoes and could not find them at all. What kind of a website is it, if you cant find the product.

Now it's January 2012 and it's still true! How can one of the most successful and influential brands of all time have such a garbage website. It's by far the slowest website in the history of websites.

I don't want this to go away. I just went looking 'cause I have a friend with a sneaker fetish (not literally) and his birthday's coming up and their site is ricockulous. How can the bigdaddy grandfather of modern advertising (sorry mac) have an unnavigable useless website? It's beyond preposterous.
