Rosetta Stone is the worst and I'm done with the Apple Card

A few years ago I had a Rosetta stone subscription for 3 months. I didn't like it, so I didn't renew.

I missed that it auto-renewed on a 3 month cycle. I also failed to see the transaction against Apple Card, the scrolling through wallet transactions didn't work for me. I only found out when I had to change the Apple Card number and the renewal failed. I didn't have them on my subscription list. I bet I did not know about the auto-renewal, and 3m intervals combined with the Apple Card review problem meant a significant loss.

The Rosetta Stone website is ancient. Apparently some accounts are on a newer site? Today it shows my subscription as inactive -- presumably because the transaction was declined with the Apple Card replacement. There's no way to delete an account on the web, all help is through an 800 number - 1-800-788-0822, Monday–Friday 7 a.m.–7 p.m. Central. I'll call to delete my account.

I estimate they've gotten at least $300 in unnoticed charges since I started the account. I dread to think how much.

Claude review of online reports fits what I experienced. "Unexpected renewal charges. Several reviewers say they thought they were buying a fixed three-month course and didn’t realize it would renew automatically ... Difficulty canceling or getting money back. Reviewers describe trouble reaching support, continued deductions, and unsuccessful refund requests..."

I'm also done with the Apple Card. The transaction review evidently doesn't work for me, and their management of a set of recent fraudulent transactions has been miserable.
